This delicious not-quite-traditional vodka is distilled by freezing, which gently preserves the most delicate compounds in the subtle addition of native blood limes and samphire.
On the nose, bright citrus and a sherbet-like tingle are followed by faint vanilla malt aromas.
The palate hums with soft citrus, vanilla, white pepper and a balanced saline minerality which is wildly moreish. The finish is long and rich with a weighty mouthfeel that just screams martini.
It is recommended that this nouveau vodka be enjoyed as simply as possible: ice cold, perhaps a splash of soda. As a martini, its recommended lightly scuffed as opposed to dirty - a green Sicilian olive to garnish will amplify the coastal characteristics for a sophisticated and elegant drink.
